Not Only a Stick...

Okay, so we didn't get only a stick for Christmas, that was just my lady's stupid way to tease us. We did get Christmas sweatshirts. They were red with a Christmas tree on the back. Look very closely at me in this sweatshirt. You will never see me in it again, NEVER!

Here is a close up of my face, I am NOT HAPPY! I froze like a statue and just stood there. Even when they held a treat up I refused to move.

Here is Reilly, he also looks unhappy, but later he decided he love that darn sweatshirt and he wore it for days.

This is what we wanted to take home with us from our Auntie Janet's house, her rug in the kitchen. We both loved sitting on it in front of the stove. It keep our little behinds warm and it was so much better than the cold tile. I told Reilly to pee or poop on it so we could take it home, but when he finally did poop inside it wasn't on the rug! More on that excitement in a later post.

After I kicked the chubby, red sweat shirted pup off the rug, I sat on it for a while. Notice that I am now no longer wearing the dreaded sweatshirt?!

More later.

Merry Christmas, is that our New Toy?!

Hope Everyone had a Merry Christmas!
So the lady read that there was a new toy inducted into the Toy Museum Hall of Fame and we were so excited becasue she said she was going to get us one for Christmas. What was the toy you ask? A Stick, that's right, a stick. WTF, what kind of bleeping gift is that? Here is the article: And here we are with our stick...not even two sticks, but we have to share?! Double WTF.
Then the fight was on for the worst Christmas gift ever, um, I mean the awesome stick.

Um, yeah, how much fun does that look like?!

Not much. Stupid Stick.

We got cheated, I don't care what they say at the Toy Museum Hall of Fame.

MFing Opossum!

Last night I did my favorite thing in the world, and the lady's least favorite thing. I went out our dog door to take care of some peeing business and I saw a freaking opossum, and it was on MY FENCE! So I started barking and Reilly came out and joined me in the 2 am in the morning bark fest. Barking wasn't enough so I started doing this:
Yup, jumping up to try to get that stupid possum, his tail, his foot, anything! Jump, Bark, Jump Bark, Jump, Bark, and the lady telling us to stop barking. Is she crazy, doesn't she see that ugly a&* opossum on OUR FENCE!

Reilly can't jump, but he sure was trying to climb that fence. Then some more barks.

And more jumps. Man, I almost got that thing's tail before the lady grabbed us and made us come inside. I was so proud of myself, look at me smile.

One day I am going to catch that darn thing and teach it a lesson or two.

Yummy Bread

Mitch and Maggie posted a recipe for cheese bread and the lady just to make it. It sure smelled good while it was cooking.
And look how awesome it looks! See, the lady cut some and took a bite, she even showed the piece with small bites out of it. Nope, those aren't our bites, we didn't get any.
Reilly and I are kinda bummed out, but the lady sure is happy, she's been eating that bread like crazy. Thanks Maggie and Mitch's Mom!

Yeah, Boring.

The lady has been busy going to parties, working and leaving us home. Some Holiday Season, bleh.
We did have company and I let them know that their job was to let me lay on them and for them to rub me till I fell asleep.

Look, it worked, those people are sure easy to train.

Yup, I fell asleep. I do like company.

If you wonder why there aren't so many pictures or Reilly on my blog, this is why, most of them look like this:

He sees the camera and he runs up and tries to lick it!

My Favorite Pillow

This is me on my favorite pillow. The pillow actually belongs on the lady's bed, not on the couch. But I personally prefer to lay on the pillow while it is on the couch. So whenever the lady puts the pillow on the couch, I wait till she goes to work, then I grab the pillow, drag it out to the living room and back up onto the couch. After all that hard work I need a nap.

Making Cheese

The lady left us this weekend to go learn how to make cheese. We didn't mind because we figure she would bring us some. Here she is making string cheese!?

Um, is that a giant cheese ball? Can we have some?

What do lemons have to do with cheese? Apparently you need lemon juice to make ricotta.

Yummy, a mozzarella cheese roll filled with chopped green olives. Can't wait to taste it.

The smiling cheese making students. They look so happy without their hairnets on!

But I am mad, we didn't get to try any cheese. I think I will go pee on the couch. And to those that ask, yeah, we get to climb on the coffee table, we've trained our lady well, it's our table, not her's!

The Lady is Lazy

The lady claims that she has been busy, I personally think she is just lazy. She hasn't even been taking pictures. But finally, FINALLY she got out the camera because it was Halloween (yeah, we're late). So here we are waiting on the kids to show up.

Reilly was bored, and he couldn't stop yawning.

Finally Reilly ran to the door cause he thought he heard somebody. I waited to see if it was worth jumping off the table for.

And it was, it was neighbor Grace. Hello there Gracie, have some candy!

And here is a very barky Reilly telling Grace not to leave with our candy. He didn't realize that we were supposed to give it away.

And I would like to tell all of you that we wore no costumes because we swore we would tear them up if the lady even tried to make us wear one.

Missing the Doodles

Well, Slater and Coco went home and we were kinda depressed and lonely, so the lady had Mischa come visit to try to cheer us up.
While the two nutjobs wrassled, I refereed from the table.

Check it out, Reilly has to wear satelite head gear to stop him from licking on his infected foot. At least it is clear so he can see through it and as you can see ---

It doesn't slow him down any. And the lady has found out how close Reilly gets to her when she walks, every time her leg swings back it hits the edge of his satellite collar. She actually has a bruise from where it keeps hitting her, hee hee!

Bob's Big Boy

For those that asked, Bob's Big Boy was a restaurant on the West Coast and all of them had a statue in front like the one in the picture. And yup, that is a big old fake hamburger. We've been told that here in Dallas they had the same statue but it was called Kip's Big Boy, but the lady says she can't find any proof of that!

What or Who is That?!

We interrupt our regularly scheduled post to ask, Who or What is that with the lady? She says it is Bob's Big Boy and we say HUH?!

Protective and Lazy

Really, do I even need words to describe the scene?
Slater protecting his food bowl and eatting, all while laying down. Yup, Lazy!

The Butterfly Whisperers

Charming the butterfly's right onto their fingers. Wow! Then it was Sophie's turn.
The ladies attempt at a pretty photo.

I think they enjoyed the cool Butterfly exhibit in downtown Dallas.

What they did without us!

They went to the Zoo, and they left us home, and it looks like they had fun too. That is so wrong. Joey shook hands with a monkey.

Looking at the chimpanzees.

Drinking a beer (a ROOT beer).

Sophie and the Root Beer, which she refused to drink.

Look at that monkey right behind Sophie, COOL!
The newest alligator wrestler, SOPHIE!

What is this a display of, um, looks like, could it be...

Joey and Sophie, the next display at the zoo!

And a fun time was had by all.

Can you beleive it?

Look at how big those dogs are, and then look at how little that dog door is....and yet, they both managed to squeeze through that door and get into the house, AMAZING!

Hanging in the backyard, where Reilly stayed safely on Sophie's lap. He would bark and then run away and jump on Sophie's lap.

I decided to try it out on Joey's lap, hmm, comfy.

Oh, a little back rub and perhaps a nap.

This is the life!
